Meet Me in the garden

How does your garden grow?  Many of you know this is my first season with a vegetable garden and I'm excited to say it's been a success!  It's been quite a learning curve but it's been so fun for the kids and I this summer.

I'm using the All New Square Foot Gardening method and couldn't be happier with the results.  It's a really amazing technique that will work anywhere.  This being my first season, I didn't plant in every square foot because I was scared of biting off more than I could chew...literally!

We did plant a variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots and herbs.  I even threw in a few flowers for visual interest.  In the fall I hope to do some landscaping around the actual beds and of course am finding lots of inspiration on Pinterest.  Feel free to follow my "Garden Frolic" board if you have a green thumb too.
