Life at its Finest

Happy weekend and welcome April!  We've had a fun and busy week here during the kids spring break.

I hope y'all don't mind an extra dose of flowers here on YSP.  There's so many pretty blooms to enjoy that  I can't help but share them.  Top left is my peony plant that I rescued from under my deck a few years ago and is now thriving.  Bottom right is my Miss Kim lilac bush I planted for my mom.  She loves them but doesn't have a yard.  I started it in a pot on the back deck but I think it's ready for a permanent spot in the yard now.

Also some fun food for the kiddos.  I've started a new board on Pinterest called "My kids eat" if you want to follow along!

We had this for dinner one night this week.  Here's the recipe if you're looking for something new!

We visited Tellus science museum in Catersville where Luke got to dig for fossils and enjoy lots of other fun stuff.  I HIGHLY recommend a visit if you live anywhere near the area.  It doesn't disappoint and you don't get the crowds of the city.  Read my previous review of Tellus here!

My mother in law helped me take the kids to the Georgia aquarium (Thank you Emily!) and Jett sat through his first 3D movie.  And of course, we celebrated his second birthday this week too!

We'll be in full Easter mode this weekend with dying eggs, church service, egg hunt and a lunch with a Masters theme menu that includes pimento cheese and Arnold Palmers.

What are your plans for the holiday weekend?  Any predictions for who will win the Masters?
