Luke: After months of waiting, your front teeth are finally coming in. This week you earned your orange belt, expressed your love for Moonpies, scored 100% on your spelling test and told me you were grateful for a mom that spent so much time with you. 

Jett: Last week I spoke of your determination and this week I gave into it by allowing you to wear the above outfit in public. Fortunately, people found it amusing rather than appalling. I assume you were proud of your victory and I was thankful to get out the door on time.
