Self Tan, do you dare?

Okay fellow peaches, give me the skinny on self tanners.  Do you use them?  What's your favorite?

Of this list, I've tried the Loreal Sublime Glow, Dove and Fake Bake.  I tend to use the first two during winter months and the Fake Bake when I actually show more skin at the pool or beach.

I know there are a ton of other brands and I'd love to hear how you keep your healthy glow all summer!

After my scare this past week, I'll certainly be depending on these products now more than ever.

Top to Bottom, Clockwise: St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion/ L'Oreal Paris Sublime Glow / Here Comes The Sun/ Fake Bake DOVE Energy Glow /SUN LABORATORIES Self Tanning Lotion /Clarins /Neutrogena MicroMist

  2. Amy, I do not know if you know I lost my sister to melanoma nine years ago March 29. It was two weeks from diagnosis to death. She was also 22 weeks pregnant. My back looks like a roadmap of scarring from having things removed. I wish more people knew the damage and how many die of skin cancer. I use the Loreal wipes, they are not cheap but I can get great coverage!

  3. I live the Tan Towels. Easy to apply and no streaking or dark spots around knees, ankles etc. They can be pricy but I only use them when needed for special occasions.

  4. H!! That is so scary! I have a self tanner I LOVE! It took me about two fails at first but it gets easier. I got it at Sally's and it is called Salon Bronze. It is actually your very own little spray gun and you put the bottle of tanner in it and you spray tan yourself. Mine was only 15-20 bucks and the one can of spray that came with the kit has lasted 4 sprays so far and lasted for about a week. Can't wait to see what you find! Xoxo

  5. Hi! That is so scary! I acutally found a product last year that I love! I found it at Sally's and it is called the Salon Bronzer. You get a kit with a gun and a can of spray and you give yourself your own spray tan. Mine was only 15-20 bucks and the can that came with it has sprayed me 5 times so far and they last for a good week to 10 days. It took me a couple of times to get it right but is easy now. Good luck! Can't wait to hear about what you try! Xoxo

  8. Hi Amy! I am really glad you posted this! I have been thinking about going to a tanning salon to get "sprayed" but I would love to find a non-orange, dependable home product instead. I think I am going to cehck into the towels. I may check Sally's for the spray gun too. Crossing fingers I won't look like a mango!

  9. I'm too lazy to do my own self tanner, ha! I just deal with being pale and then get airbrush tans before events or vacations!
