Blooming at the Masters

One of the most alluring things about the Masters is the pristine grounds of Augusta National.  They're like something out of a fairytale!  While the perfect greens and towering pines are not to be missed, nothing stops the show when the azaleas are in bloom!

After I watch the event, I cannot resist the urge to make a run to my local nursery for a few azalea plants.  I love the mix of shades from purple, fuchsia, lavender, red, coral and blush! Aren't they gorgeous?

  1. Amen corner to that! Those azaleas are to die for! My little ones in our garden have so much to aspire to!

  2. @I'maNolaGirl I know, mine too!!! I wish they were faster growers but it just makes me appreciate the older ones that much more.

  3. i think i could get into everything about the masters except for the golf. the food, the arnold palmers, the gorgeous grounds/flowers and i love a good walk. i've never played real golf before but if my mini gold skills are any indication i might be in trouble! i do like your idea of napping on the couch however.

  4. So pretty! We have some azaleas in our backyard but I really wish we had some in the front. I'm no gardener though and most of those things fall at the end of my projects list!

  5. Yes, I have to admit I also watch the Masters half of the time just to see the gardens! I love when they do small clips about them! (The other half of the time I am watching Ricky Fowler and am rooting to Phil!) Azaleas are fantastic! I once had a friend tell me she thought they were ugly, but I don't think she has seen them in all their glory!
