Life at its Finest

Two of my favorite things in life.  A full cup of coffee and a good tomato.  I tried these kumato tomatoes from Trader Joe's and am completely sold.  Store bought tomatoes are usually pretty icky but these were so, so yummy.  Their flavor reminds me of the delicious cherokee purple variety.

ONE day in the mailbox!  Must resist temptation.

I love food with hidden messages.  Fortune cookies, Dove chocolates, teas.  This message made my night earlier this week.

Can't get enough of homemade guac.  I mixed in some of the kumato tomatoes which was a very wise decision.  Do you like to make your own guac?  Here's my recipe if you're interested!

Happy Weekending!

  4. I will have to try those tomatoes, they look interesting! I LOVE guac! I bought an avocado this week to make a mayo substitute I saw on Dr. Oz- avocado & greek yogurt. Hopefully it's good.
