Holiday Happenings

I love everything that comes along with the Christmas season and while we've managed to stay very busy, I continue to try to enjoy the present moment.  Here's a little peak at holiday happenings in our neck of the woods.

We used many of the tree trimmings around the house to observe the advent season.

And the season wouldn't be complete without a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Love them!

Baking Christmas cookies at Grandma's house is always a blast.  Did I mention she owns the largest sprinkle collection in North America.  These are just a few choices.

Some of the attendees did more eating than decorating.  It's Grandma's house.  Anything goes, right?

We aim for perfection as you can see.

And there's barely a thing to clean up either.  (HA!)

Here's something I threw together a few nights ago.  I strung Luke's Christmas art from preschool on some red ribbon and hung it up for all to enjoy.  I'm quite proud of my little artist.

Now I have got to get to shopping and wrapping.  Someone please motivate me.
