Alternative Medicine: Herbs that Heal

herbs that heal different health problems

Yesterday I started feeling a little icky with fatigue, sore throat and stuffy head.  Fortunately, I already had this post planned seeing as we're right in the midst of cold and flu season and wow, how fitting it is for me right now!

I don't think my cold is anything serious but I do plan on drinking lots of this tea and getting to bed a little earlier the next few nights. (No late night Pin sessions for me!)  I'm also a huge fan of this when I feel something coming on.  Hope all of you are staying healthy!

Do you or your family have any tried and true forms of alternative medicine.  I'd love for you to share!

  1. You would like the recipe for Chicken Ginger soup I posted on my blog! I made a huge batch the last time I felt a cold coming on. :) Feel better!

  2. I love this! I am huge fan of natural remedies. Peppermint always works when I get migraines. It might not make it go away, but it makes them more tolerable. Sleep, water and destressing always keeps sickness at bay, too! Hope you feel better!

  3. I never have tried alternative medicine but that's only because I don't know anything about it. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm feeling run down.
