Gender Neutral Nurseries

So you know I'm going to be an aunt again soon and my sister's having the sex of the baby be a surprise.  I personally do not like surprises...at.all....unless they're diamonds.  That would be fine.  I applaud my little sister for her patience, something I pray for everyday.  Really, I applaud all women who are pregnant, just for the simple fact that they are pregnant.  It's not easy, but it's so worth it!

So while we're waiting, we're having some fun throwing around ideas for a gender neutral nursery.  Check out some of these adorable spaces for some inspiration.

I love a room a child can grow in to and I think all of these provide that option.  I also adore the bright pops of color, the vintage chalkboards and abaci (yeah, I had to look up the plural form of that word.)  It's also important that you like the room because you're going to be spending a lot, lot, lot of time in there.

I'll be spending some time this weekend preparing for my sister's visit next week.  I'm so excited to see her in all her baby glory and celebrate her little miracle.  She really deserves to be celebrated and I know she'll be an amazing mom to whatever God surprises her with!
